How To Make A Deliciously Refreshing Mint Float


  • 2 Cups water
  • 1 ½ Cups sugar
  • 2 Cups lemon juice
  • 6 Scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 Tsps chopped mint
  • 4 Cups club soda
  • Mint sprigs for garnish


  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, lemon juice, and chopped mint.
  • Let it simmer until sugar has dissolved.
  • Refrigerate until cooled.
  • Pour mixture and club soda into tall glasses, add cooled lemon juice.
  • Top with ice cream.
  • Garnish with some mint sprigs.
  • Serve and enjoy.


Make sure the club soda is chilled before serving, serve with some crushed ice for a super refreshing float.
