It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Particularly at Winterfest at Worlds of Fun! This amazing event is open at Worlds of Fun on select dates between November 24th and December 31st this year, and is the closest thing to the North Pole you can find here in the Midwest!

Things to Do at Winterfest at Worlds of Fun
The most commonly asked question about Winterfest at Worlds of Fun is what is there to do. The answer… a bit of everything! Thousands of sparkling lights transform the park with an inviting glow that warms the heart and lifts the spirit. There are 10 live shows positioned throughout the park, as well as over 16 iconic holiday characters for your family to interact with and enjoy!
Our family enjoyed decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus at the Mrs. Claus Kitchen attraction.
One important thing to note is that you’ll want to be sure to be there before 5:30 pm, so you don’t miss the lighting of the giant 70 ft. tall tree. Give yourself plenty of time for parking and to get in the door, as it starts right on time.
Select rides and attractions from the traditional park season are also open during Winterfest at Worlds of Fun, with the addition of several more games and attractions. There is even ice skating available within the winter wonderland.
