A major part of your success is based on confidence. Confidence drives you to do things you normally wouldn’t. To push to accomplish goals you might not have carried out. Confidence accounts for a lot. When you wear glasses, however, it can be hard to maintain that confidence at times. Most people don’t consider the fact that your glasses are a huge part of your wardrobe, and attribute to helping you dress for success. If you’re in a meeting, with someone looking right into your face, and you don’t feel comfortable with your frames…. you lose a bit of confidence.
I’m due for a set of new frames that I’ve been putting off for awhile. I like to take my time and try on different frames, and with two children at home with me during the days I just don’t have the time (or energy) to wrestle with them in the lobby of an optometrist in front of a wall filled with expensive frames my children’s little hands are just eager to snatch off. Luckily, Warby Parker saved the day!
With the Warby Parker Home Try On, all of my anxiety about picking frames was put to rest. This is by far, one of the neatest programs I’ve encountered!
How it works:
Simply visit WarbyParker.com and browse through their huge selection of frames.
Pick your favorite 5 frames, and select “Home Try On”.
Enter your shipping and provided a debit/credit card to for collateral (a $1.00 authorization hold will be placed on your card, in order to verify).
Once you receive your glasses, you have 5 days to try them on and get the opinion of your family and friends.
Once your 5 days is up, simply package the glasses back in the package they came in and drop them off at any USPS using the pre-paid packaging sticker.
You may then go online and purchase your favorite pair, with your own prescription. Frames cost $95 and you can use your Flex Savings account if you have one.
Warby Parker makes buying glasses easy, affordable, and convenient!
I had fun trying on my frames! I learned that round frames definitely don’t fit my face well! These are ordered from my favorite to least favorite frames.
