Special thanks to Worlds of Fun for sponsoring our review. As always, thoughts and opinions are all my own.
What’s the fastest way to cool off on a hot summer day? Oceans of Fun, of course! My family loves heading to Oceans of Fun during the summer. Since the two parks have become one, Worlds of Fun is like an extra added bonus! When we told the kids we’d be spending our day at Oceans of Fun, they were so excited. We’ve been to Worlds of Fun a few times this season, but this was our first time at Oceans of Fun. It was exciting for me to bring Callie to the park for her first experience, especially since the last time I visited was a few weeks before she was born!
My absolute favorite thing about Oceans of Fun waterpark is the variety. There is literally something for everyone. While we hung out in various children’s areas like Splash Island, Coconut Cove and Captains Kidd’, we could hear the party going on over in Castaway Cove.
Castaway Cove is the adult area of Worlds of Fun where guest 21 and over can relax and unwind with adult beverages, a game of pool basketball, and various other activities. While most waterparks have a children’s area, Worlds of Fun is a bit different.
Not only are their multiple children’s areas throughout the park, they are all unique. I love this because, after a couple of hours in one area, the children are ready to take on the next adventure!
