When it comes to energy, I could almost always use an extra boost. Seriously. That’s part of the reason why I’ve taken such a heavy focus on my health the last few months (a focus I need to amp up the efforts on by the way, but that’s for another day and another post…). Either way, with a 5 year old who never stops and a 1 year old that’s teething paired with a VERY ambitious, motivated and driven Husband… I’ve got a run for my money in this household! By the time I’ve fixed breakfast and ponytails and lunches and signed agendas and my husband and oldest are out the house… I’m usually ready for a nap!
I said the word nap laughing, because that’s not even NEAR close to an option.
Instead, my 1 year old finishes her breakfast in her high chair while I start myself a pot of coffee OR I wait until she’s finished eating and we both hop in the car for a quick outing to the nearest coffee shop to grab my morning Iced Caramel Macchiato.
Then, and ONLY then, has the day begun.
More often, however, I’ve been becoming more guilty of my nutrition choices. There’s probably not a whole lot of point of waking up and heading to boxing class at the gym before anyone in my home wakes up, only to add then back with one drink before noon! Instead, I’ve been replacing my morning caffeine with protein and energy drinks,,, seemingly the more responsible choice.
Funny thing is, apparently I didn’t have to make a choice at all.
Click reached out with an actual coffee based Espresso Protein drink, which they provided to me for review!
I was pretty skeptical because coffee… and protein…? Yeah, could go either way.
I recorded me trying it for the very first time, so you could get my HONEST and TRANSPARENT first impression. My facial expressions never lie… lol.
