Refreshing beverages and nice weather go hand and hand. There’s nothing more relaxing than relaxing on a beautiful day, the wind emitting a gentle breeze, with a tasty beverage in your hand! There’s always the debate in my house around which is better: Cherry Limeade or Lemonade. Finally, we realized that we didn’t have to make a choice! Cherry Limeade Lemonade is not only delicious, it’s the perfect compromise that is sure to please everyone in your home!

Refreshing Cherry Limeade Lemonade
2 cups of sugar
3 cups of fresh, cold water
2 cups of fresh squeezed lemon juice ( 10 large lemons )
1 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice ( 3 regular limes )
3 Tbsp. of grenadine
Maraschino Cherries for garnish
Take your lemons and limes and slice in half and squeeze the juice out and set to the side
In a medium saucepan add your sugar and water bring it to a boil
Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for several minutes until the sugar is dissolved
Set the sugar mixture to the side to let it cool
Add your lemon, lime juice, and grenadine
Refrigerate until chilled
Add your cherries for garnish
Serve over ice
