It’s amazing how much can change in just two years. You don’t fully understand the extent of change until you see your little baby develop into their big kid personality. I’m experiencing this right now when my toddler. It seems like just yesterday when she was the tiny little baby that we were bringing home from the hospital. I remember watching her for hours on end while she slept peacefully.
A few months down the road and she was beginning to develop her own little personality. She had (and still has) a unique sense of humor with laughter that was contagious. I watched in awe as she began exploring herself and the world around her. She learned to crawl, then to walk soon after, and in seemingly a moment she was no longer a baby.
Now, at two, allowing her to hear you refer to her as a baby is a sure fire way to get an earful. She is completely convinced that she is a big girl, and we do our very best to encourage her independence and confidence during these years.
One major milestone came with potty training. For most toddlers, this is a huge milestone that separates the babies from the big kids. True to her stubborn nature, she was resistant to making this transition early on. The thing that helped us through? Huggies Pull-Ups!
The reason Pull-UpsĀ® Training Pants a are so often for us is that they allow my toddler to feel like a big girl while still offering her that added level of protection from accidents that she still needs from time to time. We head to Dollar General to stock up on these. She loves getting to grab the adorable designs that make her feel like a big girl, and I love saving money!

Pull-UpsĀ® Training Pants are designed specifically to help teach potty training skills. They look and fit more like underwear, giving your child the independence to slide his pants on and off, while also providing consistency for any learning style throughout his potty training journey. It’s important that once you make the decision to potty train, the diapers go. Switching back and forth can be confusing for children, and add unnecessary delays to the process.
